Trying to dig out this room to make it a real office vs. the storage area where I throw everything that “I’ll get to eventually” which won’t go in the closet that used to serve that purpose (but is now organized. Yay) Progress so far: almost immeasurable. Completed much procrastination.
Working on switching the boys room to the room that was Frances’ and making the boys current room the playroom. Progress: built the bunk beds. Figured out where to get mattresses, shopped online for bedding – didn’t buy anything. Completed moderate procrastination.
Living Room Makeover – this is the room with the tv and hideous furniture and nothing else. There used to be a lamp but it was, um, killed. Progress: Ordered new tv, ordered furniture (yes, we are doing our share to help the economic recovery along, good citizens that we try to be). Got paint. Haven’t done any actual work – just shopping. Lots of thinking about what I’m gonna do though!
Finish the final touchups / forgotten finishes on Family room paint job and hall bathroom. Progress: Total procrastination.
Finish recovering dining room chairs and barstools. Progress: 2 chairs 5 weeks ago. Nothing since except … yup – procrastination.
Is it possible that DH is correct in his thinking that I should start fewer things at once and finish one thing before starting another one? hmmm. Thoughts, anyone?
