For school, DS1 has this folder that he brings home each day with stuff for the parents on one side and homework on the other. In the parents side, today, she put in a ziploc bag with a cotton ball, a tissue and a bag of tea. There was a note from the teacher in there.

After you have wiped your tears, make yourself a nice warm cup of tea, put your feet up and relax. Then hold the cotton ball in your hand. The softness will help you to recall the gentle spirit of your child.
